1. APPOINTMENT

3. REMUNERATION

5. HOURS OF WORK
5.1 The Employee's standard hours of work shall be 40 hours per week, typically from 08:00 to 17:00.
5.2 The Employee shall be entitled to a daily meal break of 60 minutes.
5.3 Any overtime worked shall be paid at a rate of 1.5 times the hourly wage, in accordance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

6. LEAVE
6.1 Annual Leave: The Employee is entitled to 15 working days paid annual leave per year.
6.2 Sick Leave: The Employee is entitled to 30 days paid sick leave in every 36-month cycle.
6.3 Family Responsibility Leave: The Employee is entitled to 3 days per year for family emergencies or deaths.
6.4 Holidays: The Employee is entitled to all official South African Public Holidays as paid time off.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY
The Employee shall not, during or after the term of employment, disclose any confidential information relating to the Employer’s business or clients to any third party.

8. TERMINATION
8.1 This contract may be terminated by either party giving 4 weeks written notice to the other.
8.2 The Employer reserves the right to terminate this contract summarily and without notice for serious misconduct or fundamental breach of the disciplinary code.
9. DISCIPLINARY CODE
The Employee agrees to abide by the Employer's Disciplinary Code and Procedure, as amended from time to time.
10. GENERAL
10.1 This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties.
10.2 No variation shall be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.
10.3 This contract is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
